In Antigua, Guatemala, near the Volcán de Agua (Water Volcano) are 250-350 small coffee producers. They have lots around the volcano that grow from 1600 - 1900 MASL. These lots make up Hunapu. The coffees are taken to Bella Vista washing station to be separated into lots and go through the depulping, fermentation, washing, and drying progress. In addition to these steps, Bella Vista started using greenhouses to dry the coffees gradually and evenly in a controlled atmosphere. The end result is a great cup of coffee.
